The 12mm watchband appearance was good, if a bit ‘shiny’, but apparently it was not designed to fit a round watch. The old band actually curves at the attachments to fit the curve of the watch, while the new band is straight in those areas. Due to the compactness of the fit this means the new band can’t be attached to the watch. I suspect this is a common problem with really small bands, but there’s no way to know if a band requires a curved attachment without designing for a specific watch. The watch will go to a jeweler to replace the band. I’m out a few bucks and learned something.

I bought these watchbands and I consider myself to have smaller than the average size wrist than most women. I am sure I would have paid more like $12.95 for just one band like this, so the price is right. I had a hard time changing the watchband and it seems a little too short.
