<description>I purchased the 7 mm version of this band in May as a replacement for a Timex watch I have. It fit my wrist and looked great for the first few weeks, then the leather started peeling apart. The inside layer appears to be cardboard or something like it covered with thin outer layers of leather. One of the loops also became detached within the first 2 months. After 3 months, the band was held together by glue (I tried to repair it twice), but it finally fell completely apart in late August - only 3 months old! I don&#039;t do anything that should stress a watch band such as getting it wet. In general I wear it all the time and only take it off when it might get wet. The original leather band which came with the Timex lasted 1 1/2 years under the same conditions. This is not a good quality band for a watch you wear all the time.
